Resolved Alleles

Olerup SSP AB is continously developing our kits for genomic HLA typing to supply our customers with the most up-to-date product line. Today, more than 6000 different HLA alleles are known, and new alleles are discovered at the rate of approximately one new allele per day. We strive to always keep our products updated with the most recent information on new HLA alleles.

The HLA database kept at the EMBL-EBI contains sequence information for all known HLA alleles, and has also a good introduction to the HLA gene family .
